The SA-4000EQ is a faithful replica of the EQ section of arguably the most famous console in recording history, the 4000 series of consoles. .In 1983 the famous “black knob” EQ was released on the 4000 E-series, so called as it featured, for the first time, a four band parametric EQ section, where the low-frequency band knobs were colored black. Although fully capable of being subtle and clean, producers loved these units due to the aggressive and musical results they could achieve. The SA-4000 EQ is an accurate replica of this highly prized four-band EQ section, allowing studios and producers of all budgets to access the most recognizable EQ in audio production history.
